His expertise in auditioning and casting vocalists, for shows like MTV’s Making His Band and StarMaker and tours for artists like Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera, gives him unique insight into how vocalists need to prepare. Judith Hill…
If you’ve never heard of Judith, get ready! Here’s a little background information on this rising star to catch you up:
In addition to her recent appearance on Season 4 of The Voice, Judith Hill is currently featured in the film 20 Feet From Stardom. The film tells the true story of the backup singers behind some of the greatest musicians of the 21st century. Judith’s footage includes her rehearsals with Michael Jackson in preparation for the This Is It tour. Aside from being one of the background singers, she was also chosen to duet with Michael on the classic Bad ballad, “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You,” which became the undisputed highlight of the posthumously released film, This Is It. Recently, she’s been writing new material in preparation for her upcoming solo release due out later this year.
